Redmi’s First Flagship Spotted In CEO’s Hands; Powerful Specs Leak
We heard about a Redmi smartphone with a Snapdragon 855 chipset, and today a leak from China has revealed some additional information about this device. According to user Weibo, the upcoming flagship product will be paired with 8GB of RAM and will feature a triple camera with a 48MP main shooter.
Even if your Chinese is nonexistent, the list is pretty self-explanatory: the Redmi phone will have a 6.39-inch screen with a 32-MP camera in the front, although we’ve seen spy photos of a phone with a lifting mechanism for the shooter from the front. Whether it’s the same phone we still have to determine.
While the main configuration is coupled with what appears to be the same sensor as in the Redmi Note 7 or Redmi Note 7 Pro, this time it will be paired with a secondary 8 MP shooter, probably a telephoto, and a third 13 MP camera, probably with a wide-angle aperture. The phone should arrive next month.
